Practical example
Imagine that you have created a ‘Reading Comprehension’ task and want to review the open-ended answers. Go to the Tasks section, select the task, click on the student's name, and review their answers one by one. Write a brief comment for improvement, assign the grade, and finalise the review.

Related frequently asked questions
What happens when a task becomes ‘Out of date’?
→ Two main things happen:
The system automatically assigns a mark of 0 to activities not completed by the deadline.
The student can still access the assignment and submit activities after the deadline, which will be marked as ‘Delivered late’.
Remember: You can review these attempts and modify the mark if you deem it appropriate. So that you don't have to manually manage deadline extensions, students can continue to access and submit activities after the deadline has passed.
How do I know if a student submitted after the deadline?
→ In your dashboard, the assignment will appear with the status ‘Delivered late’. In addition, each student will see a notification indicating that their submission was after the deadline.
